Recently added a @karlssontools carving axe to the workspaces and had to take a few comparison photos with the Craft Carver from @hoffmanblacksmithing. Before raising the time to write a shot review on the two axes another maker may get an opportunity to participate could be another hand forged axe or a production model just to make it interesting. . . . . . . #carving#greenwoodcarving
The 2018 Driftless Makers Exchange will mark the one year anniversary of Waletzko Primitive Crafts first market. We have plans for 2019 that will include more miles driven and hopefully large art shows to participate in. To anyone who has stopped by and talk shop or purchased spoons, ...
Black cherry spoons will be making their debut Saturday noon-6pm @driftless_makers_exchange the grain on these spoons has great depth and a semi hypnotic look. If you are interested in purchasing a spoon comment or DM . . . . . . #carving#greenwoodcarving

Logged some hours in the combine and was able to do the fall tillage on the same land my grandpa Wilfred farmed. With age had come a simple joy of working the same land that your grandparents or even your great grandparents have worked. . . . . . . #harvest#johndeere

Simple no frills cooking #apple spoon . Finally worked through the last container of ruff chopped spoon blanks time to start the process over. About half of wood in the wagon will not make it through splitting because stress fractures and pockets of decay. Wood that doesn't make a spoon will make delicious #smores and smoked pork . . . . .
