It’s a relieve seeing the beauty in the other wise dull grey days. . The shift between winter to spring is hard on many people. Except the cold I think that the nature before it blooms out is quite heavy to see. Brownish, sloppy and dull. Heavy. . That’s why it’s a relieve to notice when I do see beauty like this. The formation of the snow surrounding the dead plant, how come there is almost a dry circle around it? It’s stunning 🌾 . #雪#눈
This is a headstrong plant, partly survinging the cold winter. . Well hello there beauties! . If you are interested in a herb challenge, join my @tinnadoula account for more information and inspiration. The Challenge starts in a few days counting. . #pickaherb . . . #plants
When I became a doula I had been an artist/photographer for a long time. That’s just always been me. But I thought I’d keep the two parts apart. I thought it would be too hard to photograph during birth and still keep the visual art beautiful, compelling and just do good work worth sharing. I was thinking about the dim or harsh light at hospital rooms. The not so cozy environment with cables, plastic bed and nurses with gloves 😂 after all that kind of documentary style has not been my cup of tea as an artist. Just didn’t think ...
Malt Queen . . I’m working on a project that I intent to finish this year. Here I had finished a crown made out of Malt soda cans and felt like I needed to try it out before I put it on the real model. Which I will do in Iceland in April 📸🗽 . 皇冠由汽水罐制成。 . 소다 캔으로 만든 크라운. . . . #crown#queen

Something random about me. • I’m a fierce violinist and sing the blues wholehartedly! (in my dream at least!) I get very affected by listening to good violin and heartly voice • What I do in fact is dancing since I was a kid. Many different kind of dances that came from the different life situations I have lived. Flamenco while living in Italy, later Spain. Modern dance and ballet during my college dance program, I wanted to attend theater but where I lived then there was dance program instead. And I am so forever greatful for that. Lindy Hop, ...
Pang pang - a crack in the wall . I have always had a good eye for details. But during my darkest years, the most struggle in my life, my sensors got subdued. Smell, sight, taste etc. can all get numbed during hard stress. Did you know that? . Sense if you got all your senses clear. Can you smell the air, whatever environment you are in? Do you see ”the little things” around you? Take a deep breath. All love to you out there! . 👁🗨👁🗨 . . . #listasafnreykjavikur#artist ...

Gorgeous art by @penabranca 💭 Many good things happen in the middle. Often kaos but kaos is often a form of cleansing what should no longer be. A possibility for transformation, change or new start. . What would you like to change in order to go further on your dream path? Take a moment to contemplate. . All love to you out there! Take a deep breath. . #soul#synchronization

My father has been in Kenya for some months now taking care of an orphanage and school for 200 children. He has an immensely interesting life story which requires several books to write about. But this chapter of his life, helping children in Africa, both helps them and also gives him the mission and spark in life that he needs when he now lives in Iceland. The winter months are too dark and hard on him. . So I’m off now to pick up my father on the AirPort. He doesn’t know that I’m coming and I haven’t seen him ...
