I really recommend learning the scientific name of what you're growing 💚 I've just realized that the Lemongrass seed I bought is Cymbopogon flexuosus and that's not the same as what is most popularly used in cooking which is Cymbopogon citratus 🙆♀️ So I just got some citratus stalks from the market and am rooting them in water. My sad little seedling of the wrong species, I'll continue to try and keep going just to see how it turns out. (It is edible, but doesnt form the thick stalks that's desirable for cooking.) Ok, I'm done yammering 😀 #didntdomyhomework ...
So here's me with my improvised rattle (it's a decorated Peruvian gourd), breaking up any negative energy around my herb seedlings. 🌱 I have had the worst time growing herbs from seed this year! I have hope for eventual cooler weather to try again. Smudge and Blessings to follow 🙏😊💚 #pleasesendgreenblessings#goodvibesonly

I made a whoops 🙊 Wildlife biologist says this is a Tropical checkered skipper, not a Common checkered skipper. The subtle difference is the black checks run together out toward the tips of the forewing. I would never have caught that minute difference and am happy to learn what to look for to help ID similar skippers! Very sorry, I truly agonize over getting the correct identification on everything I post 😊💖😊 #tropicalcheckeredskipper
