Trekking across the thorong La (5416m). After we acclimatized at tilicho lake we set off for one of the world's highest mountain passes. We started hiking a few hours before sunrise, as strong winds begin typically a few hours after and the temperatures drop! Was definitely worth the 3am start. . . . . . . . . . . . #landscape#landscapephotography

Today's run was... entertaining! ❄ . High winds and sharp snow showers made for some interesting moments. . It feels like winter has well and truly arrived in the Lakes. . . . #fellrunning#mountainrunning
Taken me this long to get a video of my Benchmark problem ‘cheddar bob cuts lose 7a+’ on the @moonclimbing board. Pretty happy to have a benchmark climb on there! . . 🎥 @mhclimbing . . #psychi#reachyourpotential
Dots amongst the landscape. Single pixels on a screen. Skiers exactly where they want to be. . . In the winter of 2016/17, Martina Halik and her mother Tania covered over 2000 kilometres through the Coast Range of British Columbia, Canada, traversing the entire Range. Their epic (and it really does deserve that title) journey became the subject, along with other stories of a film celebrating the experience of living in the mountains. We’re delighted to hear that @mountainlifefilm and Martina and Arabia’s story picked up the award for best visuals at this year’s @kendalmountainfestival. Looking at this image, it’s ...
Although we are @ami_professionals, everyone has to start somewhere, even us! So our courses always move at your pace - whether you're very experienced, or a complete newbie! We're happy to teach beginners, the way we see it, the more people interested in our kind of sports, the better! When there are no mountains around the corner to highline, we must find buildings to cross. Super nice to highline in a totally different environment than usual. Being part of the rigging team and meeting up with old and new friends made the second Dutch highline festival a blast. I also got to connect with @raedslacklines here, who will support me on my slackline journey with strong, light and reliable gear. More projects in the pipeline! I am excited 🤩 📸 Tom Peek
The Groove, Caley. This climbs exactly as the guide description says, AWKWARD, one to get back. Trying figure out what I need to do to the top. It’s easy to look cool and calm climbing and have an idea of what you want to do from someone else’s point of view, but it’s very different to actually starting a problem and finding out none of it works 😂. 📸 @jessrg_outdoors
#grossstrubel#engstligenalp @bergzeit 📷 Jojo S.

Well the winter mindset has fully set in ⛏ A total of 700 meters of ice and mixed climbing, and of course some snow slogging. Doesn’t get any better for me than spending time on long routes in solitude; definitely a weekend to remember with @burningvan Thanks for the partnership and 📸!
We will be closing the shop Thursday and Friday this week (11·22 and 23) to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. Regular hours again on Saturday! Celebrate well, friends, and see you soon! #wearerab#themountainpeople
After a super-inspiring weekend @kendalmountainfestival I’m feeling way more motivated to get more of my thoughts down on paper (so to speak!) & sort through my photos from #project282 🏴 including finishing off my Instagram posts 🙈 • To this end, Munros 250-259/282 found me in the hills of Glen Lyon on a day which started with a lovely cycle through the Glen but deteriorated as I trudged into the cloud ☁️ the highlight of the first 2 hills was a packet of my favourite paprika crisps that my wonderful sister @didacot had brought me over from Switzerland🇨🇭but then ...
Quick trip to go slow on the islands this weekend. ➖ Got taken to the astral planes by @deadmau5 in Edinburgh, then camped out for a few days at the @jurahotel 🍻 Unreal food, views, vibes and craic as always, favourite spot in the world. ➖ My G @bennbarloww fast snappa 📸 . . . #isleofjura#wearerab

Crazy endurance routes in Montsant 😬😎💫 I am still in America, but unfortunately it is hard to climb outside for me with those crazy conditions... ☃️ I am training quite a lot for endurance, several pitches in the gym in a row, hopefully it ll be a good thing for the looong routes in Spain 🤓💪🏻😍 @pdufraisse @raphaelfourau @dave_graham_ #climbing#nature @tenayaclimbing @petzl_official @rab.equipment @arkose.climbing
#wearerab

Couldn’t feel more energised and inspired by this weekend. The @britishcycling Mountain Bike Tutor Conference was stimulating, inspiring and exciting. It is great to meet a tutor force so passionate about the direction our sport is going in and to know we are all thinking the same way about how we educate the next generation of leaders. Hectic and brilliant, I then managed a whirlwind 10 hours at @kendalmountainfestival catching up with alllll my friends, old and new, grew a beard, ate pie with @erinbastian and presented an Alpine Q&A session for @pertexfabric. I also drank late-night lime juice with ...
Topping out Hobbiton, Kentmere, fantastic crimpy dyno. This weekend had been amazing! @kendalmountainfestival did not disappoint! I took a lot more away from this weekend than I thought I would, coming home with a different outlook on where I want to be, what things I want to do and what is important to me and has inspired me, inspired me to do something, but I’m still finding out what that is. 📸 @jessrg_outdoors #tbt
Stuart on the north-east ridge of the Aletschhorn (4193m) - such an excellent route and gorgeous place to catch sunrise!! If you are looking for a Mont-Blanc-like ski mountaineering challenge but without all the people then head into the Mittelaletsch bivouac for a nice adventure! . . . . . . #nepal#nepaltheplanet ...
I'm pretty sure @Bronwynhodgins and I were the only people climbing on the Chief yesterday evening. It was frigid cold and dusk when I set off across The Underfling, a 12d undercut flake and the first of the two Grand Wall free variation pitches. I could feel the scrittly granite crumbling slightly as I pasted my feet on smears, laybacking further away from the bolt. The thrill of doing hard moves with so much air under my feet never gets old and as my arms started to tire I could feel my brain switching off. Without realising or knowing I ...
What an absolute belter of a weekend! 🤟 Big climbing day on the bike taking on ‘High Street’ in the lakes followed by a few days with likeminded adventurous folk at the @kendalmountainfestival. 😎 If you’ve never been I’d highly recommend it! It was great hanging out with the crew from @rab.equipment, partying in the @lowe.alpine yurt and hearing tales from the @silkroadmountainrace by @adventurepedlars! 👊 #adventure #imquitereadyforanotheradventure

Headed up yesterday to the Lake District for an @ami_professionals committee meeting this morning. We took advantage of the lovely dry spell to take a look at a Hard Rock classic; despite a rather late start - we left the car at 14:00! Gormenghast (E1, 5a), Heron Crag. I started up the 3rd pitch as the sun started to set. Steph finished it up in the dark, with a headtorch, still psyched! Looking forward to stopping by @kendalmountainfestival later on whilst I'm in town. @ami_professionals @rab.equipment @lowe.alpine #wearerab#climb ...
Sunday! Time to sit on the couch with a hot cup of tea and scroll through the memories of summer… What is your favourite season?I can't decide, i love all of them and i love the change inbetween. The first Flowers and longer days in spring, warm sun and swimming in lakes in summer, colourful forests and hot chocolate after rainy runs in autumn and of course all the sparkling snow in winter 😍.By the way: The color of my down jacket is my absolutely favourite color @rab.equipment - Thank you so much! -------------------------------------------⠀ //Anzeige: Produkt wurde durch Rab zur Verfügung ...
This was taken on the shoulder of Tasman at about 3400m. Directly below is Lendenfeld- which we’d Summit a second time to get down from Tasman, behind that is Douglas south face. Sitting there in the warm sun, perched above it all- I fell in love with New Zealand. I realized just how special this wonderful country is- With it’s beautiful mountains, thick rain forest, friendly people, seemingly peaceful politics and shared love for nature and conservation. I am full of gratitude for these lovely peaks and the Kiwi people. So good down here!! 😌🙏 #aspiringtoaoraki#wearerab @rab.equipment @cilogear_official @revo ...

Good to be back on El Cap! This time with @Bronwynhodgins on her smooth free ascent of Freerider over 5 days. I was support team, belaying and hauling and leading some of the easier pitches, but Bronwyn was leading the charge, smoothly dispatching the 5.13 crux pitch as well as all the burly 5.11 and 5.12 cracks, offwidths and slabs. This was her 4th attempt in 4 years, so good! This was my 10th ascent of El Cap and I have now climbed Salathe and/or Freerider 4.9 times! Now to do some new moves! ;)
With this cold and wet weather, it was "bennies and down jackets on!" Despite those bad conditions we were able to have some good times with friends but also on boulders, crushing some 7a/7a+ in the forest. See you soon Bleau! . . . . . . #10yon#wearerab
