The second day in Tokyo, we had a guided tour for the morning. She took us to the Imperial Palace (outside the official grounds) and accompanying garden which shows the Shogun history, samurai and ninja housing and security matters. Azaleas were in full bloom.

Ahh it’s my last day here in Japan and I just wanted to say it’s been a blast of a 3 1/2 weeks in both South Korea. As sad as I am it’s been so fun and I’m definitely coming back ! — here we have the Tokyo Imperial Palace. One could think of it as almost being the White House of japan, as it is the current home of the Emperor of Japan (who is soon to retire this week).
