As I walked the path on a warm spring day I happened upon a bed of Field Pansies nearly hidden in the grass. This tiny flower showed detailed intricacy even on such a small scale. Canon 60D + Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro Lens. May 2012. #wildflower#wildflowers
This tiny European Field Pansy was quite a challenge to photograph at only 1/3 inch in size. The sunlight hit just right allowing for this macro capture of a wildflower so small you could easily never see one. Canon 60D + Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro Lens. May 2012. #wildflower#wildflowers

Eek! I finally received the 3rd Lunarheavenly pattern book. They are all amazing. She is the reason I started crocheting. I can’t wait to make flower crowns and other one of a kind crochet keepsakes with these new patterns:) I already have items stocked in my Etsy shop created using her first 2 pattern books. Link is in the bio. It’s going to be a good night for crocheting. #tinyflowers#tinycrochet
A few more chrysanthemums from Mumfest at Longwood. Cultivar specimens were trained as traditional bonsai by staff and students over the course of ten or more months to achieve these amazing creations. I can only imagine what a deeply rewarding experience it must have been to study and learn this ancient art using chrysanthemums — I know a enjoyed getting to see the finished results! . . . . . . . #chrysanthemums#mumfest2018 ...

Gratitude Day 15 - Ouch days Indoor self expression, lol, ouchy jaggy coughs, sniffles and using natures gifts for natural healing x Very grateful for my my wee house plants for the howling wind blew me inside. I backed up like my wee cat did, brrrr, cold windy day x Grateful for coming back to the present little by little and these wee gems allowing me to mindfully be grounded by seeing the good in that we all grow and heal x
Generous fall and winter rains have allowed vines to grow over cacti in the Pinacate! Here is a lovely desert starvine (Brandegea bigelovii) covering a senita cactus (Pachycereus schottii) in an arroyo near the edge of the Sierra Suvuk . . . #senita#sinita
