Stunning Snowdrops at University of Oxford. Bluebells in the background. There was a beautiful aroma of flowers and blossoms whilst I took these and I was wishing I could capture the amazing aromas to add to this post. . #stunningflowers#snowdrops
#100daysproject It has been an assembling day today 22th day of #100daysproject2019. A new collection of botanicals ready to send to restock @whitehousegalleryscotland. In other news I am sad to report there has been an empty pond since yesterday afternoon apart from the daddy duck keeps coming back to see where his family are. I have no idea where they are, just hope they are safe and enjoying another pond somewhere else.
Signs of Spring. . In my mother’s garden: crocuses and pushkinias, snowdrops, hard neck garlic and bear garlic. Weeks later than last year. . It’s officially real Spring! . . . . . #inthegarden#growwhatyoulove
Hope that everybody has had some lovely holidays. In Denmark, we send “gækkebreve” for Easter. Besides being a beautiful folklore tradition, it’s also a guessing game where the receiver has to guess who sent the letter and either wins or loses chocolate egg. Here a homemade one for all of you. Did you send yours? #gækkebrev#snowdrops
Picked up a birdbath on clearance - it’s the next best thing to a pond (which we’ll have one day hopefully) for giving birds and bugs a drink. Also offloaded a truckload of gravel which I’ll use under the sides of our new raised beds (to be installed once the ground thaws a bit more). And finally, the snowdrops are all up!! The humble snowdrop tops my list of favourite flowers. #permaculture#foodforest
Learning about plant cycles and seasons from John the Gardener. He explains how he has purposely designed the garden in a way there's always something in bloom. As the first plants die another starts its life cycle. Snow drops from February. #snowdrops
