I really dig this side gig. I'm glad I'm putting to use some things I've learned in the paint industry when I worked for Miller and Pacific Paint years ago, and I'm greatful to all the contractors who showed me their tricks along the way. ~ I dig using power tools to make a difference on a large scale. It feels like an art form to me! And I love using my hands to create or repair. Scraping and spackling then sanding and painting the trim and stair railing is equivalent to the dental work of a house, lol. All ...
Via @animalrights_awareness Reposted from @jay_nicole_83 - Repost @f.o.z.e The zoo told us the elephants always have access to the indoor area (that is kept at a measly 70 degrees) so they can stay warm. I was surprised when I saw three elephants (Shine, Rose Tu & Samudra) outside on Sunday...I followed the girls and here is video of both Shine and Rose Tu trying to get inside. They were locked out...it was freezing. (Chendra and Samson were not around which leads us to believe they were kept in the barn not accessible or visible to the public (and which ...
Good morning - Welcome to the weekend. I thought I’d give a little update on Lily Bea. She is now 15 days old. Remember, she was a bit skittish after being born? She’s found her courage and is doing beautifully. Tom worked with her daily to get her to come out of her shell. She truly is a great addition to the herd. __________________________ #pnwfarmlife#farmlife

I can't get the words "shop like you care" out of my head. We live in a world of big box stores and disposable items everywhere within arms reach. We're all going to shop, and we like to shop so when we do let's spend our money on goods that are built to last. #shoplikeyoucare#shoplocalbend
We can’t not share this killer perspective from @fulleylove.photos if we’re gonna be focusing on the St Johns Bridge. _________________________________________________ Chosen by @fat_squirrel97 _____________________________________________ Don’t forget to let us tag along on your bridgeventures #pnwbridgehunters __________________________________________ #bridgeview
Our tradition of mom and me photos on valentine's day is finally becoming a recognizable one! James was so excited all morning to do photos for V-Day. We said, "Happy Valentine's Day, I love you!" all day and gave so many extra snuggles. The boys (let's be real; all of us) had frosted sugar cookies for breakfast and I used another one to bribe them during photos. See them all at sjpwedding.com/blog
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” In other words, there is no quick fix for achieving goals. It’s the compound effect of hundreds of small decisions and actions that don’t make an immediate difference, but over a period of time, lead to a far better outcome. This reminds me of flowers - how beautiful they, but how much work they take to grow and how many little tiny things must go right in order for them to bloom. Throughout my life I’ve made many small decisions based on instant gratification - or by what’s most comfortable in the ...
