First willow whistle this year and a wonderful sunny day. That's what I call a little big moment. Small things, that put a smile on your face...Swipe to hear it works 😉 . Hope you had some nice Easter days, back to business tommorow. Stand tall folks 👊🏼🍻 . #victorinox#willowwhistle ...
Less than two weeks until the #michiganbushcraftspringgathering May 3rd through the 5th at Lumberman's Monument and Visitors Center near Oscoda, MI! There's not much more I'll be able to finish before then in the shop, but I'm glad to have these available that weekend! Eze-Lap diamond/ceramic combination stones courtesy of @bensbackwoods and a Parsell Artisan Works "strop pouch" to go with them. I've used this exact stone/pouch setup for over a year now, and when it comes to touching up your sharps in the field you really don't need anything more. $45 for a set, grab them at the gathering!
Learning about wild flowers and all their amazing benefits is one of my favorite things. 🌼 Luca and I learned about Daisy Fleabane, Wild Buttercups, and Common Yellow Woodsorrel today. Finding out all the amazing remedies God has provided for us in our backyard is so refreshing and it's amazing how many of these plants can help with the current seasons allergies/ailments. We also made a wild flower bouquet to bring some fresh color to the dining room. 🌿 I absolutely love spring. 🌱
A flame box-elder Kuksa on the drying rack after its first bath of mineral oil. Box elder always has surprises inside the grain! Made the handle more in-line with a Great Lakes canoe cup and I think I’ll make a few more like this. #kuksa#guksi
Flying Shark Scales in the wild!! @hammerhead_knife_works killed it on this wharnie using one of my personal favorite sets of scales we have made to date. Micarta from @g.l._hansenandsons. Black mango from @robswildwood. And some gorgeous black and gold stone. What do you think? . . . . . . . #knife#knives
