Eurasian Spoonbill (1/3) Also known as common spoonbill, is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family Threskiornithiade. While photographing this spoonbill, since it was approaching from far i didn't had a clue what I was photographing. Thought it must have been an egret as they were in abundance around that water body. I only recognised it as a spoonbill when I reviewed for the image whether it was shot properly and was quite thrilled to see a spoonbill instead of an egret in my camera screen.
