Little afternoon stroll down Queen Mary Road. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful city. My grandparents went there for their honeymoon, 70 years ago. They got married on July 18th, 1949. #montreal#cityscape
I've been meaning to post this for awhile. This is the phone for buzzing people into the building. It's 100% functional! I'm a sucker for vintage stuff, so imagine how excited I was when I was told it came with the place! #montreal#vintagephone
First evening stroll in my new neighbourhood. I started having a severe aversion to winter in the years I have lived in Toronto. It rarely snows that much there. Montréal, t'es belle en tabarnak. 😍 #cityscape#winterwonderland
Heavy snow! Which means I have to add at least 30 minutes to my commute today, because the TTC errors out when there’s anything more than about 10cm of snow. On top of that, sidewalks aren’t cleared by the city so it’s a kind of jungle trying to walk anywhere outside. In Montreal, things would resume as usual because we are used to snow. In 48 hours from now I will be in Montreal, in a new apartment. Moving is so stressful, I hope I don’t have to move again anytime soon. #onstorm#snowstorm ...
Earlier (on FB) I made a big post about being disappointed in some people I thought were friends. I spent a good 10 minutes sobbing in my husband’s arms and I just came to the conclusion that I just can’t do Facebook that well anymore. So, until I decide when to shut my account down, I listed alternative ways to get in touch with me. #facebooksucks

Rare photo of me with an open mouth smile where I didn’t feel like my face was going to crack. #selfie#unicornonesie
My dummy account has been disabled. Back to not being able to contact anyone on Facebook. I’ll be out of FB jail in about a day. I don’t know if I’ll be as active on Facebook as I used to be. These few days are giving me time to think about limiting the amount of time I spend on that specific site. I’m not at all giving up Instagram, it’s honestly my favourite social media, a lot less drama is going on here. #boourns#facebook

We’re being gaslit about the heating problems encountered last night. With the 15 years of experience in customer service, I do my best to send non-accusatory emails, drama-free, and polite. However our landlady is a #bully who complains about the emails we send when something needs fixing in our unit. This is pretty upsetting. Considering the new PC government in Ontario wants to give all the power to landlords, it’s so infuriating. She must be thrilled that we’re leaving soon. So are we. #eattherich

This was the temperature last night. Our heat was turned off. It was really cold in the unit. I emailed my landlady to let her know and that it’s cruel to turn it off when such extreme cold weather hits. Her excuse? *She* was hot! The problem is that the door to our unit is a simple French door, with significant gaps at the top and bottom, letting cold drafts in. She then said we should just use the fireplace in the living room, but that’s not enough, our bedroom is at the back of the building, and would not ...
