BANDERITAS (mini flags) made of recycled mineral water bottle observed during our visit for 19th Barangay Festival in New Ibajay, El Nido, Palawan, Philippines on January 22, 2019. We recognised and appreciated the uniqueness and creativity of our fellow of making this "Banderitas". But still we love to promote "Reusable Water Tumbler", instead of patronising the use of "Mineral Water in a Plastic Bottle"! #reduceplastic#planetorplastic
#repost @tubbatahareefs (@get_repost) ・・・ Found in Tubbataha! 🌊 Our Marine Protected Area is now in danger of #plasticpollution. This Black Noddy was found entangled in straw. Our park rangers were able to carefully remove the straw and save the bird. 90% of seabirds are affected by plastic trash. Let's protect our marine wildlife.

James from @surfsurfcafe, the children and other volunteers collected 4 big bags of trash and 2 bottles full of cigarette buts. James does this every Saturday in the morning around 09:00am. B&R Hostel will join and support his efforts in an attempt to #keepourbeachesclean @princesarefuseplasticbags
