Photos by @ronan_donovan // Exploring Cinque Terre by night was one of the highlights of my trip across Italy. This series of 5 villages perched along a rocky coast felt like a step back in time several hundreds of years. Travel more by following @ronan_donovan #italy#cinqueterre

Photo by @michaelclarkphoto // @richiegrahamphoto exploring a ridge above Tower Junction in Yellowstone National Park last week. Skiing around in Yellowstone was one of the coolest parts of our experience out there. It was frigid to say the least but the biting cold and crusty snow didn’t really dampen our spirits. The Lamar Valley, below Richie in this image, is famous for the incredible array of wildlife that can be seen from the road. That valley was also where wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone back in 1995. #yellowstonenationalpark#yellowstone

Photo by @kevinfaingnaert // For the intrepid traveller who’s prepared for ever-changing weather, the Faroe’s remote landscape of unspoiled moorlands, dramatic fjords and bird-rich cliffs are rewarding. Especially when it is covered with beautiful white snow. #faroeislands

Photo by @KristaRossow // February in the Peruvian Amazon is the wet season when rivers and creeks have swollen in size and spilled into forests. One morning we navigated on skiffs through a flooded forest off of the Ucayali River and this little oasis of nejilla palms seemed like a magical mirage in the reflection of the calm water. Taken while #onassignment with @NatGeoExpeditions in the Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve of #peru.

Photo by @max.lowe I Complimentary colors and sunny skies over the old church in Sayulita Mexico. One of my favorite things about Mexico is the color in all cities bringing out beauty in the mundane. To see more from his travels in Mexico follow @max.lowe
Photo by @jessmandia // A waterfall along a trail in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. A common sight after a heavy rain during the winter months in Northern California. This photo was taken in the middle of the day but with all the shade from the trees makes it feel much later.

Photo by @kevinfaingnaert // The dusty, enchanting harbour town of Labuan Bajo on Flores island in #indonesia is the jumping off point to see prehistoric dragons at Komodo National Park and for world-class diving and snorkeling. Those like me, who will stay a little longer, will fall in love with 'Bajo'.
photo by @andrea_frazzetta | A girl walks on the rocky coastline near Ballintoy, Northern Ireland. Ballintoy lies roughly halfway between Ballycastle and the Giant's Causeway on the most scenic stretch of the Causeway Coast, with sea cliffs of contrasting black basalt and white chalk, rocky islands and broad sweeps of sandy beach. Photo by @shonephoto (Robbie Shone) // Glaciologists follow these narrow passages, meandering deeper into the ice to try and get a better understanding at the rate of melt and what influences the speed the glacier moves. Every time I have visited the Gorner glacier in Switzerland, I am immediately struck by a shrunken volume of ice and a drop from the level the glacier was last time round. It is depressing to think that one day Europe will be without these amazing glaciers.
Photo by @KenGeiger | Don't look now but you are being watched—if you are walking the boardwalk in the Yellowstone Geyser Basin, past lounging bison, you better pay attention. Yellowstone National Park in the winter is literally a wonderland. A winter visit takes a bit of planning but well worth the effort. @natgeoexpeditions #yellowstone#infrared To explore more images of the world follow @KenGeiger
