. Cape Cross is a small headland along the Atlantic coast of Namibia. It's home of one of the largest sea lion colonies in the world. Up to 100,000 seals live here. By the time I was there, no male were in the colony, already back to the sea. But there was plenty of youngsters around. They feed on the mother for about one year, but when she must leave to feed herself, they become very vulnerable and are hunted by hyenas and jackal, which can be seen wandering around pretty undisturbed . . . #namibia #capecross ...
