I have officially joined the Audio team over at Fiddler On The Roof in Yiddish! Proud to be working with an immensely talented and welcoming cast; and even more grateful to be part of a fierce audio department. L’ Chaim!
Today is my first day of tech over at the Women’s Project Theater. I have the opportunity to work alongside Joanna Lynne Staub, a Broadway Sound Designer and Audio Engineer. Some of her work includes: ‘Angels in America’, ‘The Color Purple’, and ‘The Curious Incident of The Dog In The Night Time”. Excited to be around some smart and talented people!
Very happy to share that I will be working with @thenewcollectives on their next project: M4M. M4M is a seven actor reimagining of Shakespeare's Measure for Measure happening April 24th to May 11th. Excited to design and work with @justinivanbrown on this one! Stay tuned for more!
I had the honor to see my favorite playwright, @octarell_again, debut his beautiful play ‘Choir Boy’ on Broadway. Thank you for your work, Tarell. You inspire me to push on. And thank you @mollyollyoxenfree97 for the birthday gift!
⚠️WARNING: Graphic Content ahead!⚠️ 🔊SOUND ON 🔊 As I’m currently board oping a show that deals with gun violence, I can’t help but be nostalgic over my first Sound Design. Here is the climax moment of Simon Stephen’s ‘Punk Rock” where a teen commits a school shooting, killing 4 students. Thank you to my professor that patented the handheld MIDI gun trigger that cued my gunshots in real time. Such a hyper realistic moment could not have been achieved without the collaborative efforts of the cast and design team. Set Design: @designs_by_eden Lighting Design: ...
Thank you so much @rachmakesmusic for the amazing birthday gift! I cried during the first 3 scenes because I was in such awe to be in the room. The fire has been reignited to do work in this capacity! 💕
Last week I had the pleasure of creating the soundscape of a plane being shot down for @tonyvitorocco workshop production of ‘Lord Of The Flies’. Here’s a snippet of my favorite movement sequence. I love the transition between the soundscape and M.I.A’s ‘Born Free’. Anthony’s movement work is transformational.
I’m thankful for having the wonderful experience of working with @mayitheater . A group of super talented, and caring individuals. Thank you for letting me join the family you beautiful bunch! Check out the link in my bio to see more of their work!
