Now, six years on, it’s just beginning to coalesce into what I originally had in mind. Suffolk garden a couple of weeks behind London, but I’ve never seen so many bees in it; from bumbles and solitaries to honeybees aplenty. Flowering Currant, early Lilac, Plum, Vibernum, Ornamental Quince and early Clematis all pretty much over now, but next up on the pollinators’ feast list...the Choisya and Ceonothus, both just about to burst into prodigious bloom. .Euphorbias going strong too. . . #successionplanting#successionalplanting
