This stunning angle of @Norwich_Cathedral was captured by @polkowskirafal - thanks for sharing!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How can you look at things differently at your church? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #churchofengland#church
I wish I had pictures of Billy’s service yesterday because it was put together so beautifully. Instead I’ve been gifted the similarly beautiful song “belly of the beat” which was played during the service and has gained a completely new meaning 💙❤️ sleep well Billy
The east end of Norwich Cathedral, a building with a beautiful mixture of Romanesque and Gothic styles. The gallery (seen here on the bottom, with the round arches) dates from the original building, constructed 1096-c. 1120. After the crossing spire collapsed in 1362, the clerestory was rebuilt (completed c. 1380) and then Bishop Goldwell added Perpendicular vault from 1472 to 1499.
Oh, is the sky blue and the sun shining this morning Thomas? Why don’t you bring some cheer to my morning! “All you that do this place pass bye, Remember death for you must dye, As you are now even so was I, And as I am so shall you be, Thomas Gooding here do Staye, Waiting for Gods Judgement Daye.” #norwichcathedral#thomasgooding
