Ice Cave Adventure 🇮🇸 I’ve just got home from an amazing time in Iceland and couldn’t wait to share this adventure I had with @offtoiceland & @localicelander . @guillaume_m_k from Local Icelander took us for a spin in his Defender, then onto Vatnajökull Glacier and into the ice caves for a private photography tour. Unfortunately, Solla from Local Icelander couldn’t join us in the caves as she was on call with her mountain rescue job, but Guillaume was able to guide us, and we were in safe hands with his expansive knowledge and experience on the Glaciers. ☺️

The main part of going back time and time again is that you never see the same thing twice. Because icebergs are always changing, one sees a personal and unique iceberg that no one else has seen—or will ever see

We accidentally met a land owner that told us about this newly formed ice cave. It's a floating iceberg on a glacier lagoon that is only accessible when the water is frozen deep enough for it to walk on.❄ Words cannot describe how fun it was to explore and capture this unique cave. There is something so romantic about taking a photo of a place that will only be there for a very short time, before being gone forever #iceland
🌈 Have you been to Iceland? If yes - what’s your favorite spot on the island? If not - Is Iceland on your bucket list? . I’ve visited Iceland in the summer and and also during winter. To me, both seasons are so different and it feels like a different world! Besides beaches and resorts, I’m addicted to nature and I would love to plan another trip back to Iceland soon!
Things move fast. I normally like to sit and look over a scene to find the things that catch my eye. Sometimes that just doesn't work out. An hour and a half drive and two hours left before sunset is a stressful combination.. but in a place like this it's kind of hard to take a bad photo. Plus it's nice to switch things up now and then 🤙🏻
Stay wild moon child! Tonight is the Full Super Snow Moon in the earth sign of Virgo ♍️. This moon will be at it’s closest point all year so it’s going to be a strong one. This moon is here to help us recognize fears and destructive mental patterns we have been running. If you are feeling this more intensely and obsessing more, it’s just magnifying what no longer serves you. This Snow Moon is here to open our minds and hearts to a higher way of thinking and being. It’s showing us our infinite potential and possibilities. Welcome ...
Diamond beach in iceland is a one of a kind place. Ice from the glacier is drifting onto the black beach and at sunrise the ice turns into fairy fish 😜🍀🇮🇸📷 Taken on my #canoneosr with @sigma_deutschland 1424 on @rollei_deutschland tripod #werbung . . .
Anzeige | Iceland is a glaciated country. Approximately 11% of Iceland’s total area is covered by glaciers! And they create some of the most dramatic scenery in the world. I fell in love with all the different shapes of ice we found there. All of those images (and a ton of video) were captured with my #galaxynote9. Exploring this area makes you feel like being on another planet… #withgalaxy
The Puffin is easily one of my favorite animals you can find in Iceland. The adorable little color birds like to nest high up on sheer cliff edges, where they nest and raise their young. Last summer I was fortunate to photograph these birds behind both a setting and rising sun, something that had been on my own personal bucket list ever since my first trip to Iceland back in 2011. What is one random item on your own photography bucket list and why is it there?
