I have to say something… 🤨 . As a society we are always looking for quick a fix. We want the fastest, easiest ways possible to do anything, including get healthy. 🙏🏻 . Weight loss pills, waist trimmers, shakes that promise to make us skinny, 30 day crazy workouts plans... the list goes on! 🤯 . Ya feel me?😤 . Short term happiness equaling short term results because you never really learned any true sustainable habits. . Wouldn’t ...
The sweeping wind from beyond the visible world finally sent these pictures my way! @alisethiofficial I was at a loss for words that day (my face in pic 2 says it all lol). Here it is: Thank you for performing Misaq-e-Ishq in Toronto. Thank you for sharing those details behind each of the poets you recited. Details which have often times been ignored or overlooked by the masses. Thank you for artfully contextualizing Sufi poetry with politics, gender, sexuality, history, and so much more. Thank you especially for sharing Siraj Aurangabadi's work with us. I would be lying ...
Big congratulations to brother @narcynarce for bringing a multi-media Hip-Hop experience into non conventional spaces like the @agakhanmuseum . I love how in his bio, “Rapper” is listed FIRST followed by notable titles like “scholar” “filmmaker” and “activist” Most people just want to be entertained, but I need music/art that inspires me to create, I can always count on Montreal’s finest for that. His latest project Space Time is available online please go and check it out ✊🏾✊🏾
Olivia, we may have been born only 10 days apart, but you are married and I’m still on bumble. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All jokes aside, it was an honour to stand beside you on your wedding day. You two are absolutely perfect for each other. #alwaysabridesmaid 🤟🏻
I never have a chance to take photos while I’m actually #attheparty, so here’s me 30 minutes before the @caftcadawards that I made my lovely roommate take for me. CAFTCAD is an organization that celebrates Canadian Costume artisans and I’m so proud to have created the opening video for the annual awards ceremony! Proud to be involved with an organization that celebrates a plethora of designers, skills, and experiences. #caftcad
It has to be age! Having a completely different experience with sending my kids to daycare, with Zayn I still think of him all day and looking back with Rayan I can’t help but wonder how different things would be now if we hadn’t had all that time apart 🤔
