Ran to a new to me trail this AM with 35 lonely kms on tap. I haven't done a solo long run in a while and really needed this for race training. But while out there I still managed to run into a couple friends from strava and joined them for about 7k just to change things up! Run felt good, pace felt strong. I am ready to take on the mountains this fall! #utharricana#ultramarathon
Had a great 5km Sunday hike in the forest. It was so peaceful and refreshing. My last time walking on snow was 2 years ago. I'm not a winter person and I've been running away from the cold for a long time but I guess I kinda missed it. In fact, the snow made me quite homesick.. But luckily I'm finally going home for Christmas after one and a half years of travelling. ❤
I read somewhere how important it is to not necessarily be strong but to feel strong ✨*edit. I've recently been learning about how we can change and shape our currently feelings into ones that add more value to our lives and are healthier. So in the past I would have said, "but I don't feel strong." I've been learning that sometimes you can feel something that isn't necessarily true. Anyways. Now I understand that just because I feel a certain way doesn't mean I have to stay that way.
