This picturesque spot on Highway 163 close to the Utah/Arizona border became famous after Forrest Gump stoped his cross-country run at the crest of this hill. It is now often referred to as "Forrest Gump Hill” and is a favorite stop for tourists. 🇧🇷Como uma cena de filme. Quando estive nesse lugar, me senti como em cenas filmes de faroeste e literalmente fez mais sentido com essa vista, o cavalo e o Cowboy prontos pra foto! 🤠🐴 🇺🇸The day I felt like part of a Western movies. The Cowboy and the horse were in the right spot for me. 👏🏽💪🏽😍 ✨ @visittheusa @visitusaparks @beautifuldestinations @chantalwittevrongel @bestplaces_togo @bestdiscovery @bestintravel @bestvacations @earthpix @earth @earthvacations @travelandleisure @travelawesome @youtraveling @hurb #beautifuldestinations#wonderful_places
I still cant believe I finally got to visit this place. This is one of the places that can leave you speeches due to its beauty. Monument Valley will always hold a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to go back one day 🙏🏻 — Also, can you spot the car on the road? The size of these monuments still has me like 🤯
✧ Monument Valley☽ @sonyalpha #alphacollective . Seriously one of the best road trips I’ve taken - there are moments where it felt as if I’m on a different planet! Can’t wait to visit again in the future and I definitely want to stay longer!
Before human existence, the Park was once a lowland basin. For hundreds of millions of years, materials that eroded from the early Rock Mountains deposited layer upon layer of sediment which cemented a slow and gentle uplift, generated by ceaseless pressure from below the surface, elevating these horizontal strata quite uniformly one to three miles above sea level. What was once a basin became a plateau. Natural forces of wind and water that eroded the land spent the last 50 million years cutting into and peeling away at the surface of the plateau. The simple wearing down of altering ...
Feeling the love from @careless_wandering.. this is how she feels about the outdoors! 🔷”The outdoors are special to me because the feeling of being surrounded by incredible landscapes is second to none. Nothing else in life is able to replicate the immense awe and joy that nature brings, and the memories of these gorgeous places will stick with you forever. So much of our life is comprised of the same mundane routine, it's important not to forget how beautiful the world is if you make and effort to go out and see it.”
My trip to Monument Valley last year really got me motivated to shoot again. I had fallen into a slump and by shooting a new location I found a renewed interest. Where are you shooting next? * this is a composite of a Milky Way I shot in a different location . . . . . #earth#earthofficial

Reminiscing about one of my favorite campsites: Monument Valley. No need for an early morning hike or extra effort to get a 5 star view at sunrise (or sunset). You can be lazy and just look out your tent window. Too easy.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to this teal-haired goddess 🧚🏼♂️ Thank you for always being down for an adventure - big or small. I love that we’ve grown as photographers together 💛 Swipe for a lil video clip from this day 📽
dedicating this post to my eldest brother who dreams to come here since he’s a little boy & who knows obviously 100x more about the history of this place (wild west, cowboys, erosion etc..) than I do. I literally feel sorry for being here before he was, but he’s happy that I’m living his dream✨
