I came over to the farm today to check on my solar kiln. I have it full of walnut, pecan and some sweet gum. This load is getting pretty close another 2 weeks or so and it should be ready to come out. (I hope) I'm still learning about the finer points of this process. #wooddesign#woodshop
Finishing up a fun logo! I love getting orders from other small, local businesses! . . I prefer to work from our dining room. It's much closer to the kitchen than the basement ;) . . #firepitdesigns#madeinkentucky
#soundbarrewhereveryouare from the beautiful, rolling hills of Kentucky! ☀️🐎 . Anne here! I enjoyed a quick weekend get away to my hometown of Lexington and Paris, KY. Coming back to the barre full of joy, love, and casserole! 😋 Hope everyone had a great weekend. Can’t wait to move and sweat with you this week. XO, A Photo cred: @hanjacuff (shout out to all the significant others out there who have assisted in a “SoundBarre wherever you are” shot... 🤣we appreciate you!) . . . . . . . #barre ...
Lori picked up a new lens for her camera and had some fun this weekend playing around taking pictures in the shop. With the rain Saturday, it was a good way for us both to kill some time. I’m sure there’ll be more because she seems pretty stoked about this new toy of hers. (I guess it’s her equivalent of getting a new set of hollowing or carving tools, which seem way more fun to me, lol.)
Introducing Helen, a wood bowl I hand turned from locally sourced walnut. As I mentioned yesterday, dry walnut presents some challenges to work with, but all that extra effort is totally worth it in the end. 😊
Can’t go wrong with these inexpensive picture frames for a loved one!💕 Not only your significant other, but don’t forget about Mother’s Day coming up! These would be a sweet little gift perfect for your momma as well!
