A lot of us spend a huge amount of our time surrounded by technology, by modern buildings, our minds consumed by the daily tasks needed just to maintain a functioning life. ✨ Phils and I stayed in Salisbury last night after going up there for my wedding dress fitting (with the amazing @milliecouturebridal ❤️) ✨ To stay somewhere away from it all, surrounded by history was a beautiful a little reminder that we are just a moment, living in ‘the shadow of time’ to quote one plaque near the cathedral. ✨ It astounds me how each of us are such ...
Stonehenge, Amesbury. 📍 Tried to take alternative view of prehistoric monument of Stonehenge in Wiltshire near Amesbury. Each rock is 4metres high and 2.1 meters wide and believed to be 5000 years old! It is widely believed to be ancient burial ground in its early days. But this view is been disputed by some other research reports. Irrespective of history, it is very interesting place to visit and declared world heritage site by UNESCO in 1986. London’s Reserve infantry units joined forces to train for the challenges of Operations in Built Up Areas (OBUA). With 55% of the world’s population living in an urban area this training is vital to ensure that the British Army stays ahead. Troops from the @london_regiment and @4parahq practised building clearance drills as well as battlefield first aid and search techniques. . . . . . @britisharmy @ministryofdefence #armyinlondon#soldier
. . #londresparabrasileiros#brasileirosemlondres

If you’ve ever been to Stonehenge you’ve probably noticed the many sheep that roam the place 🐑 ...that and the birds made for some awesome additions to photographing the already incredible megalithic stone structures
Good afternoon! It’s @jamesmarkhamuk here continuing my weekend takeover. This afternoon’s images are of the font of the magnificent @salisburycathedral 😍 I’m off to explore more of this beautiful county this afternoon. Hope you are having a great day! #timeforwiltshire#loveuk
The Countess of Pembroke, 187x137cm. So excited (and a touch intimidated) that my painting will forever hang alongside portraits by Rembrandt, Van Dyck and Rubens (hence the very traditional aesthetic of the composition). If you haven’t seen the spectacular collection at Wilton it’s a must see. The portrait was painted to accompany @adrian_gottlieb ‘s superb portrait of the Earl of Pembroke, painted twelve years ago. #portrait#oilpainting @wiltonhousepmh

. Si vais a viajar a los Cotswolds, ...
