I don’t consider myself a very religious person..I have a hard time finding spirituality in a man made church. It just doesn’t feel right to me. But I have no trouble connecting to something bigger when in nature. It’s mornings like this one, when I was hiking alone in Redwood National and State Parks during our project, that I become overwhelmed with a deep gratitude. My temples are in nature...the forests, the rivers, the mountains. For me, nothing could feel more pure, perfect, and connected than in those settings. This morning, hiking among the Redwood trees, is one I will ...
#tbt That road trip a few years back when we took the #minivan off the beaten path, had a spat over something so stupid I don’t even remember what it was, got lost, and found one of my favorite spots in earth. 💪🏻

It’s easy to make an image look super busy and congested, but to strip it down into simple components can really draw a viewer in and make them question what lies beyond just a single frame." | a7R II | 16-35mm f4 | 16mm | f/6.3 | 8 sec | #sonyalpha#bealpha
Walking through a redwood grove on a fog-shrouded morning can be an unforgettable experience. Sounds are reduced to the musical gurgle of water trickling amongst ferns and mossy rocks. Light ebbs with the somber mist and shafts of sun hang like cobwebs. Stillness and peace weave their spells upon the respectful traveler. Seriously, it’s time to visit #redwood National & State Parks in #california. Photo by Michael Wu (www.sharetheexperience.org).
Redwoods National Park and Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park | RNP on the Northern California coast is home to some of the tallest trees on the planet, and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1980. Half of the remaining old growth redwoods are right here in the RNP system! One of the most beautiful moments we had was seeing the rays of sun hit the moist tree trunks. It created an ethereal mist/fog/light ray combo I’ll never forget. ET and Star Wars we’re both filmed here 🤓 We did the James Irvine Trail, Boy Scout Tree Trail, and ...

Standing next to these massive Redwood trees and strolling around under them sure does make you fell small and young again as there over 2400 years old and over 315ft tall #roadtrippinusa#redwoodnationalpark
I’m missing that adventure today.. the one where everything you experience is new but you’ve been dreaming about it for years. The Redwoods, Redding, Asia, Argentina. I think I’ll start dreaming again and hope that God will bring it about. Thailand? New York? Business? Music? Love? We’ll see I guess 💚
