A few nights ago we got to make a quick stop at one of my favorite National Parks, Bryce Canyon. Unfortunately, due to recent snow all of the trails were closed, but we did get to enjoy this beautiful sunset from the rim. Although we have a van for this trip, we later retreated to a hotel room as it was getting down to 8 degrees. Without a heater and our winter sleeping bags it would have been a rough night. How many of you guys have visited Bryce, and what did you think? Worthy of being up there with ...

Dead. But somehow inexplicably alive thanks to my fav trail jacket by @32degreesofficial. Literally spent the week in below freezing temps and this bad boy not only kept me warm, but somehow also allowed my skin to breathe?? Like, I was running through the snow and NOT overheating. And it packs so small!! I already owned 32 degree gear before they decided to partner with me, which is why working with them makes me so excited. Idk what kind of voodoo technology magic they use but I 11/10, 110% recommend. Best trail jacket. Hands down. #peoplewhohike#32degree
Letting the stars lead the way into Bryce Canyon⛰🏜. . . About an hour before this shot was taken I got my Jeep stuck in just over 3 feet of snow on the side of the express way. Temps were sitting around -2 degrees and I couldn’t help but pull over just to feel how cold it was. I then proceeded to forget to throw my car into four wheel drive.. and as I hit the gas, my back tires spun out, and almost in slow motion, my car slide off the edge of the road into knee deep snow. ...
Ok, I lied... I said “no more photos of winter” but I am sneaking one in. Hope you don’t mind too much. 😉. My niece is in the far background as I was being a paparazzi again. . . . . . @ngpho #click#bryce igutah landscape @brooksandoak

HOW DO YOU HOODOO? Those funky little rock spires are formed by differential erosion, meaning that the softer, weaker sediment layers are carved away faster than the harder layers, leaving behind undulating towers and fins. The canyon is eroding west and will eventually capture the Sevier River, leading to the accelerated erosion of the rock formations. So hurry up and make a Bryce Canyon trip in the next 3 million years! Photo by@heidisescapes #radparks#findyourpark
Pretty sure this is exactly what Teddy Roosevelt had in mind when creating all these national parks 100 years ago - two shirtless dudes gazing longingly at each other near the edge of a snowy cliff 👬♥️🏜 ⠀ . . . . .⠀ Photo by: @gagangakhar
