This tank has made such a change over the past few weeks. Loving the dense growth from my emersed grown aquatic plants in the foreground. It really makes the tank look full, and is exactly the look I was aiming to achieve! Swipe to see some of the details!

So awesome to get to 1000 followers thank you all so much!! - I definitely didnt expect to get here so quickly, but greatly appreciate everyones support. I love this fantastic hobby and all the great people in it. Aquascaping and the aquarium hobby in general has been a passion of mine for over 10 years now. From my first tiny little 5g tank when I had no clue what I was doing, to my current 7 tanks and several years working in the trade, I've strived to improve my skills and educate myself on every little detail I ...

So glad I starting to beat the algae in my 12g. Been doing daily water changes and decreased lighting a bit. And I'm finally noticing a difference! Excited to see more growth out of this tank, like there use to be.

It's time for the tanks first trim! Not that the tank is overgrown yet, but I need to trim some old and unsightly leaves to help promote healthy new growth. While in doing the water change I will likely try and clean one of the large filters. I can only image how nasty the filters are, as I havnt cleaned them since before I had the cichlids in this tank. Big ol' nitrate factory right now. Hopfully I can do it in under an hour this time!

The 150g is almost fully stocked. Just looking around for a few more fish to increase school sizes. Will be posting up some of the new additions over the next few days!
I almost never post pictures of my 10g holding tanks. As they are usually a mess and have nothing special going on. But added a few more sticks to one and some more shrimp and I'm really liking how it looks! The wild green neons and endlers I got a while back from a few freinds really add some color.

Been a while since I posted my 12g. While battling this horible algae issue I added in some new plants to the mix and pulled out the large center rock that was there to increase flow in hopes to help with this never ending string algae issue. Replaced the blyxa that was on the right with some alternanthera reneckii, and the place where the large rock was with ludwigia natans 'super red.' Really hoping I get some solid growth from this tank soon and control this algae issue... but love the new pops of red nonetheless.

My garra gotyla have been significantly less skittish and interact more with each other now that they have been moved to the 150g! This is definitely a species that likes more space and shows great color when they are more comfortable!

One of my Bolivian Rams in the 150g showing off for the camera. They are definitely loving the larger tank with tons of places to poke around. Love these underrated little cichlids!

Details of the 150g, with lots of new growth from the anubias barteri!
Seriously loving this tank with some life in it. Though there isnt enough fish yet to make q dent in this tank. The plecos were a bit of a nuisance while they made their hiding places. And lot of them kicked the substrate out of the back onto my perfect sand 😭 took a while to clean up the majority of that. They also uprooted the vals in the back quite frequently and as such they have suffered and lost most leaves, but finally have some growth! Been doing weekly 50% water changes and EI dosing dry ferts as I ...
A throw back to my first aquascape with co2 in 2011. Swipe to see how it matured! For co2 I used a yeast bottle hooked up to a power head you can see on the right side. And thought it would be cool to use wood clamps I had laying around for light risers which worked out really well until they rusted! But I wanted a super simmple scape that would grow well and who would have known it would work and envtually turn into a crazy grown in tank even after moving it to a new location, which jumpstarted ...

Took a quick video of the 150g with a bunch of the old fish from the 65g and some new stuff from @animalinstinctsinc I got yesterday! The tank still looks empty even with around 40 fish 😯.
